There are numerous benefits of coffee on hair and skin and most of them are because of its rich antioxidant properties which work wonders on your skin. Polyphenols are a group of antioxidants which works to fight free radicals and as a result slows down the process of aging.

The majority of adults working and fulfilling the family obligations often do not get enough sleep, which is why the visibility of dark circles becomes more prominent and puffy eyes start showing up. It’s a time when you should start saving the grounds for your morning coffee and set them aside to cool. Mix the coffee grounds with almond oil and apply on the affected area. Leave for 20-25 minutes and rinse with cold water. Avoid any contact with eyes. If you have the regular coffee which brews by dissolving, the simply six it with almond oil. Alternatively, you can also add vitamin E capsules.

Mix a 2-3 tbsp. coffee in castor oil and vitamin E capsules. Heat it till its luke warm and apply it to your hair and scalp. Leave overnight and wash thoroughly. Castor oil has a very thick consistency, so you may also consider diluting it a little bit with olive oil.



Coffee grounds and powder is very useful in preventing aging effectively. Caffeine again works wonders to help fight premature skin aging, wrinkles, and fine lines. Mix 2-3 tbsp. coffee grounds/powder with honey and massage it on your face for 2-3 minutes. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and rinse off with water.
